Watering Can Makeover and Lantern Update

One of my major summer projects was to complete my deck makeover.  It is still a work in progress!  I have gotten almost all the furniture painted, except for one bench and a wicker table.  I found this old watering can in my closet, and decided it would be perfect for the patio.  Here is what it looked like before the paint job.

I painted it using Krylon's Blue Ocean Breeze.  I can't get enough of that color!

After spraying it, I added ASCP in Coco around the trim just to add some color.

I then added a few rosettes.

While I was at it, I decided my lantern still needed a little something.  I had been thinking about stenciling on the top, but couldn't decide on a stencil.  So I decided to add a few rosettes to my lantern, too!  Yes, I have a thing for these lovely rosettes these days!!!

The picture below is how the lantern actually started out.  You can check out that post here.

 From super yucky to this:

I used the same Blue Ocean Breeze spray paint.  I loved how it turned out, but still wanted to add some bling!  :)

Slowly, but surely I am getting there!  I hope to have the tray the watering can is sitting on completing finished by tomorrow.  I have been working on it for a week!  One of those projects that is not cooperating.

I hope you are having a wonderful weekend!  Thank you so much for taking time out of your busy day to stop by for a visit!  I love reading all of your comments.  As always, if you are a new follower, please leave a comment so I can return the follow.  :)

That blue is so pretty on both pieces :-)

I love the updates! The blue just pops, and the rosettes really do make a world of difference, I don't think I would have thought to add them on an outside piece, but seeing how they look so good on yours...it is giving me some ideas :) I've been working a lot on trying to update my outside this summer as well...seems like there is always one more project I want/need to do...I loved what you did!

You have been very bizee! It is amazing what a difference a little paint (okay a lot sometimes) makes. I think the color is very well suited for the items you have painted. It looks so summery and reminds me of the ocean. I can't believe that is the same lantern. Job well done! :)
